Job Summary and Qualifications

• You will participates as an active administrative member of the Nursing Management Team and assume 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients in the department
• Your principle responsibilities include strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance and quality improvement
• You will maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team, implement strategies that positively affect staff retention, and use benchmarks and data to monitor quality and improvement process

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;

• BSN required; MSN preferred

• BLS/ CPR

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in an acute care hospital

• Demonstrated experience in leadership/management and establishing interpersonal relationships necessary to promote an effective working environment
